Tea Room at Bisk

$45.00

Sunday August 2
10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Spend a relaxed Sunday morning brewing tea, enjoying a fresh pastry, and sharing both in good company.

Tea Room is a casual gathering centered around thoughtfully sourced tea, handmade ceramics, and quality time together. You will learn how to brew tea in gongfu tea (功夫茶) traditional Chinese style with teaware handmade and sourced by Chaye.

We’ll be brewing three premium teas sourced by Chaye from recent trips to Taiwan and China:

  • Pinglin baozhong (坪林包种茶).

A lightly oxidized, bright oolong tea from the hills of Pinglin outside of Taipei, Taiwan.

  • Yunnan Shaihong black tea (云南晒红茶)

A sub category of Yunnan black tea (滇红茶) that’s sun-dried for oxidation. Smooth, sweet and creamy with subtle floral notes.

  • Wangong raw pu’er (弯弓生普洱)

Harvested in 2025 from the Yiwu region of Yunnan. The dry leaves are long and shaped like bent bows. Sweet and aromatic with medium bitterness. Delicate and elegant. Produced by Shanmuqing, an intangible cultural heritage tea grower based in Dali, Yunnan.

We're also partnering with Nanxi (@eggontheweb69 ) to create a tea pastry for every guest, made specially for the event.

The ticket covers unlimited tea from our menu, a tea pastry, and snacks.

The gathering begins at 10 AM. You're welcome to stay for as long as you'd like and leave whenever you're ready.

Location

Bisk Studio
262 Noe Street
