sold out

Sunday November 8 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Join us for another edition of our Modern Ikebana Workshop, led by designer and florist Hanna La Salvia.

In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore the Japanese art of flower arranging through a contemporary approach, working with seasonal fall flowers, branches, and foliage.

Students will learn how to create a unique floral arrangement using traditional ikebana tools, design principles, and techniques with a modern twist. Hannah will guide you through the fundamentals of Ikebana, focusing on elements such as balance, movement, and negative space.

For this fall edition, we'll introduce a new ceramic vessel, designed and hand-thrown by Kani of Bisk Studio, specifically for this workshop.

This beginner-friendly class will also cover basic flower care and offer tips for continuing to practice ikebana at home.

What you'll take home:

  • Your own floral arrangement, complete with a flower frog (kenzan) and a custom hand-thrown ikebana vessel by Bisk Studio

  • A worksheet guide covering the techniques and principles learned during the workshop

Also included:

  • All flowers, tools, and materials needed during the workshop

  • Tea and small bites

No prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

All workshop bookings are final and non-refundable. However, reservations may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend.
